first stop of our tour with the munich philharmonic orchestra and our chief conductor valery gergiev was the amazing philharmonie de paris, opened in 2015. the architecture by jean nouvel is every time impressive! the grey-black-white birds made of aluminium lead the way to the building: it is round and wavy in the middle while harsh and square on the top. and we haven’t talked about the acoustics and the hall inside – just overwhelming.
